Miami, Florida – Music fans, innovators, professionals, pioneering artists will descend on Miami Beach between March 8 and March 12, 2011 for one of the most anticipated and publicized global gatherings.
Budget carrier Nasair is planning to introduce a number of new flights to Dubai.
The Saudi-based airline announced a total of ten new weekly flights to Dubai from Riyadh and Jeddah immediately as part of the company's expansion plans.
From 2011, the airline wants to eventually increase the number of flights to 18, with the addition of a further link to Dammam.
It was a celebrity-studded New Year's Eve on and off the red carpet at the Fontainebleau Resort in Miami Beach. The hotel retained it's local reputation as the hottest nightclub destination in South Beach with three stylistically separate events to ring in 2011; a poolside musical experience with Dutch superstar DJ Tiesto; a private concert with Academy Award-winning singer Jamie Foxx and Kaskade at LIV nightclub; and a classic clubbing experience with British DJ Fatboy Slim at Arkadia nightclub.
For New Yorkers, New Years Eve tends to be all about attending the hottest party in town. For porteños, as the residents of Buenos Aires are called, New Years Eve is a family event, and many bars, restaurants, and stores will even be closed.
Most families gather together for a late dinner which includes the traditional turron, a kind of nougat, and pan dulce, sweet bread. They toast the coming year at the stroke of midnight with wishes of prospero año y felicidad, a prosperous year and happiness.
Fireworks generally follow the toast. The family will either hit the streets where younger members will set off their own fireworks, or watch the fireworks from Puerto Madero, the city's port.
Supermodel Kate Moss has opted to take a trip to Thailand to celebrate the New Year.
The Daily Mail reports that that Ms Moss, her boyfriend and daughter took flights to Thailand from London Heathrow with the aim of staying in Phuket until the start of 2011.
She was snapped at the airport looking relaxed alongside her boyfriend Jamie Hince and daughter Lila Grace. The model was dressed down in skinny jeans and black t-shirt but it believed to be heading to a luxury yacht for seven days.
